Hi Reader,

We love a good book, and since we founded Kula last year, we've known that book club would eventually be a part of our community. Well, "eventually" is now! 📚

Our first book is The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown and it's already giving us all the feels.

Since the day Kula was born, this has been on our website:

"Fitting in is about assessing a situation and becoming who you need to be to be accepted. Belonging, on the other hand, doesn't require us to change who we are; it requires us to be who we are."

This quote is actually from The Gifts, and the heart of it - creating a space of true belonging - has been guiding us since day one. Join us in letting go of perfection and cultivating courage, curiosity, and compassion as we explore and grow together. 🌱

👯 Body Doubling is now two hours! 👯

🌟 Let’s talk about a tool that could support you when the task paralysis or demand avoidance sets in: body doubling.

Ever had a task that just feels like it’s staring you down? That’s what body doubling is for, helping you find that focus and flow—with a little help from a friend. Body doubling means working alongside someone, either in person or virtually, who’s just there as a friendly, steady presence. They’re not there to judge or tell you what to do—just to share in your focus.

Every Wednesday, we hop on a Zoom and everyone on the call works independently. The virtual presence of others provides a little structure, relief from the overwhelm of the thing we've been avoiding, accountability, and belonging.

And now, we're doing it for TWO HOURS from 3:00-5:00 EST every Wednesday.

Come and go as you please!
