Happy New Year 🎉❤️

Hi Reader,

As 2024 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve been on together since launching Kula on February 2.

What started as a new and hopeful vision has blossomed into something far more meaningful than we could have imagined. Together, we’ve learned, grown, and evolved—always with courage, curiosity, and compassion at the heart of everything we do.

This year, we’ve leaned into big, deep conversations, celebrated wins big and small, and supported each other through challenges. Our collective has become a space where connection thrives, authenticity shines, and every voice matters. 💛

We are endlessly grateful to everyone who has joined our community or followed along with our journey. Your presence, vulnerability, and engagement are what make Kula so special.

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re filled with excitement for what’s to come. (Hint: some amazing new perks for our members and a very big announcement to celebrate Kula’s first birthday! 🎉)

Thank you for being part of this incredible collective. Here’s to another year of connection, growth, and embracing all that makes us beautifully unique.

With gratitude,
Erica, Matti, and our whole team of community mentors and coaches ❤️

đź“š Welcome to the Kula Book Club!

As we step into the new year, we’re embracing a fresh perspective—one that moves away from the pressure of resolutions and “fixing” ourselves and toward owning and celebrating who we truly are.

The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown feels like the perfect starting point for this journey. This book invites us to take a compassionate, honest look at the parts of ourselves we often hide—those “imperfect” pieces we mask, feel shame about, or struggle to accept. It challenges us to see these imperfections not as flaws to fix but as gifts to embrace.

By exploring these ideas as a community, we create a safe, supportive space to:

  • 🌱 Let Go: Release the pressure of being “good enough” or “perfect” and instead focus on cultivating self-acceptance and authenticity.
  • 🌟 Set Intentions: Reflect on who we want to be and how we want to show up in the world—not from a place of shame, but from a place of clarity and empowerment.
  • đź’¬ Learn Together: Share our perspectives, stories, and discoveries, supporting each other as we prepare to step into the new season with intention and connection.

This isn’t about perfection or getting it “right.” It’s about taking the time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves as we head into the spring equinox—a season of renewal and growth.

Let’s let go of old ideas, celebrate our unique selves, and cultivate the courage to live wholeheartedly. We can’t wait to explore The Gifts of Imperfection with you. 📚✨

Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy, healthy, and peaceful New Year. 🫶🏻

With gratitude,

❤️ erica & matti
